Born and raised in Knoxville, I spent years away — family moved me to New Haven, Connecticut, and I took the long road back. My wife and I got married and spent a year and a half living out of an RV, traveling the country before planting roots back home in Knoxville. Turns out the mountains have a way of pulling you back.
Outside of work I pick up a guitar whenever I can. My taste runs toward the storytellers — Johnny Cash, Jim Croce, The Beatles, Sierra Ferrell, Dan Tyminski. Music that has something to say. On fall Saturdays you'll find me locked in on Vols football, and at home I share the couch with my cat, Ruger.
